It was one of the first things we had to learn when working with people who lived in the city streets - they think differently than most of those trying to help out. Realizing this was the only way to keep from judging them for their way of life. This was a great read, Justi. It brought back many memories. Kudos to the lady, and to you, her friend who understands.

So much sadness and distress for your spiritual daughter yet where some

use all that for a reason to self destruct, she has kept her eyes on God obviously. I do admire her. Thank you dear for this story.

No matter who you are, where you live, or what you believe, everybody needs somebody in their lives for guidance and support, on just about every level. It's nice that you're there for her.
