I don't know if love has likes and dislikes..
I think everyone has at least some idea of what they want. But also is true of what someone really needs.. and must have at least some similar interests, hobbies, etc.. if you are going to spend any real time with the person.
Otherwise.. what is there to share with someone? If some simple life requirements can be met.. and if the deep emotion that happens in real love comes.. I think it has little to do with likes and dislikes... because the dislikes can be overlooked.. as long as there is much more involvement to the relationship.. just my thoughts.
