It sounds so sweet. We have snow today, too. And I have hot cocoa. :)

Your Christmas sounds a lot like our Christmas. We even started feeding the Quail. There is quite the heard of them running around the yard now, and of course the other little birdies have found us out so we must redouble our efforts, but the pictures are well worth it as there was a time not so long ago when the little guys were so very hard to find. I wish you both the very best new year and hope your bumps and bruises mend quickly.

The flu is going round here Kabu we have had jabs but still get the hots, I think it is the system fighting the bugs with other bugs. It is a bugger. Arthur says he thinks it is physiological as we have to go to a party NYE. It could be the rich food, have you ever had tea sops? Bread soaked in tea if you want the recipe.

Gracious! Those gymnastics must have been horrible indeed! I am so thankful that Poppy is okay now and that you are too. All that food sounds so heavenly, Grandmummy! I never did get to make those lamingtons, but next year for sure!
I probably will end up being here New Year's Day. I'm going to need you all.
I'm so happy that you have had word from your son. And I am so excited that he is coming to visit you in the springtime!
I got your email, thank you. Love you...
