It all sounds like a "labor of love," and that's the best part of all. Since my wife and I have no children, we only have to cook and bake for ourselves, and whatever we bring to our family gathering on Christmas Eve. Nothing smells better than the inside of a house after either a loaf of bread or some holiday cookies have been baked! I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas as well . . . and don't forget the eggnog!

I have really cut down on what I have always done for Christmastime because my head seems to be getting worse and I am having a lot of trouble with headaches, vertigo and nausea.  But, that's ok.  It's time for the younger ones to take over and do Christmas.  I have just really been enjoying soft Christmas music, and twinkle lights, and faux fireplace flames.
