How charming!  Glad the kid is still with us and his mom.  Miracles still abound!

I can't believe they were even considering charges. It was done totally by accident. All's well that ends well, I suppose.

I suppose the mother snake  is still roaming around. I would have asked for a search to find that snakey. I really don't like snakes but prefer them to crocodiles if one falls in my bath.

OMG what an escape....but why would there be charges against the mum

and family? In what way did they interfere with wild life?

posted by Straightforward on December 20, 2012 at 5:59 PM | link to this | reply

So...Somewhere in their garden is a mama eastern brown snake, laying eggs, which means their is a papa eastern brown snake as well, but only the worlds second deadliest and we can't interfere with them...Little Kyle and mum can't, and their in their garden where little Kyle plays and mama works. How scary is that. Time for pet mongoose.

Oh that is so scary. I hate snakes. It is the only animal to be cursed by God. Genesis 3. That is just so horrible.

Reminds me of the time one of my sons about age 9 was carrying around and showing off a snake that was a Missouri copperhead.  He was very fortunate that a man knew what it was and yelled at him and that he discarded it in a big hurry.

See, close calls like this is why I believe in a Higher Power.

We'd never have made it as a species, if we hadn't occasionally gotten a break.
