I found the whole thing very hard to take, and couldn't do much for a couple of days. I still find it very difficult to even talk about it...

I believe you are right, Justi - times are hard for many of us...but things will get better. Experience tells us this.

Christmas can be a time of family Joy...mixed with sadness as one ages
darling. I find myself each day wanting that email from him...it hasn't come won't come I think, many of us are working through stuff. You are braver than any of us.

I tend to look at life in general as just one, long, superhighway that I simply have no choice but to traverse. Sometimes there's a pothole that causes some damage, but I recover and get back on the road. Sometimes there's a huge hurdle to overcome, but I do what must be done, and continue to move forward. That's all any of us can really do.
