At only 20 years old, the shooter was not much more than a child himself. It's very sad and frightening when people do such a thing because they have not been taught how to constructively express any rage they feel. You're right, Justi. When a child, I was taught by a non religious but spriitual foster mother to pray when overcome by emotions... before they got out of hand. She showed us there was solace in prayer, that we didn't have to deal with the turbulence on our own. Our children need to be shown how to pray.

Indeed it is horrendous, but I think we need to get to the bottom of what
it is all about. There is obviously more to it than a rabid shooter?
