Nature is always more fun than anything man-made. Yes, the squirrels have taken over our yard too, and we can easily spot the alpha males and females amongst them! Although we put out enough grub to be shared by all, there are still those who feel that it's just for them. Oh, the battles we have seen . . . !

That's not something I had ever realised afterwards. Nature is clever, isn't she?

The birds do more than just brush a little snow off, I know, I parked the newly washed car under our elm last night.

i wish I had that little squirrel, we only have ratty grey ones but they are very nervous.
I don't know what they are existing on this year as the walnut trees did not produce nuts. I really must set my camera up and try and take pictures of the birds, but I shall have to clean the window first. My brother has a bungalow, 17pounds to clean the windows, it must be painful for him.

I love your nature observations. It's almost like being there and seeing it for myself.

I have observed that wonder of nature here as well! As a matter of fact, I've on occasion acted as a wonder of nature myself! Luckily, so far this year it's not been necessary - we have no snow, nada, rien... and I'd like to keep it that way, LOL...
