My marriage has definitely bloomed as well. I always tell people that, the keys to a successful marriage are actually quite simple . . . common courtesy and mutual respect. Just because you place a ring on someone's finger and say "I do" does not give anyone the right to suddenly treat the other person like crap! My wife and I don't necessarily agree on everything, and we have a lot of different tastes, but none of it is ever worth "fighting" over. I also pull out chairs, open doors and help my wife on and off with her coat, because I am a gentleman, and I love and care about my wife that much! Our marriage is as solid as it can be, as I can plainly tell that your is as well. Kudos!

well if anyone is lucky enough to get a good mate then they better hang onto him/her and show them the love. These days it doesnt take much for that love to go away. You have been married as long as I have been divorced almost to the date. Sometimes life is so lonesome but now I wouldnt want to marry just have a companion.
Just a foot note it was 45 years ago that my great son was born and today is my 69th birthday.
