I wonder who thought of building out in the wilds, or for what purpose. It could not have been for company. It sounds poetical when you can nip inside, close the world down and write.

Sounds like a magic moment.
Waiting here, alongside the Rockies, for the first snow in the lowlands. It will be cold enough, but there is disagreement among the weatherfolk, whether anything will fall from the skies.
