Sounds painful, I hope the right treatment will be found soon...I dread it when I have to take prednisone (powerful steroid) because I don't sleep and use the extra time to raid the fridge. But I do also get hyper-energetic..:) Thoughts and prayers...

Polymyalgia Ray. A lot of elderly folk get it and think it is just rheumatism. I did until it started to affect my hands, steroids will stop it, but they are a double edged sword. In a way I am lucky to get a doctor who will trouble to find out, most just say take paracetamol.
