Re: UtahJay
Hi Jay most of the new houses have cement blocked floors, I have wood but the heating pipes run beneath and I am always wary in icy weather if they should freeze. Usually I get up in the night if it very cold and turn the heating on, but gas is terribly expensive here although there is suppose to be a glut and USA might be an exporter eventually.

Re: Ugh, sorry about the botched blood draw, CCT
Well I hope you are right Ray I keep looking and can't see any. The nurse wanted me to book in with a different Nurse, but she has got to learn the hard way and I might give her a box of chocolates.

Thanks for being you CCT.

My uncle once made a famous joke he said 'Look there's my wife coming along with the shopping. She has got bandy legs, I would not have married her if had known.

I used to take blood from my patients when I was nursing, no need
to call me vampire or such, I've heard 'em all.
You need to hydrate with several glasses of water each day as you do enough manual work to have decent veins.

Ugh, sorry about the botched blood draw, CCT
I have good veins, according to the techies who jab for a living, but I still tense up, lol. I don't think you're stone, just nervous. And you are right, winter is a risky time for we who are not as strong as yesterday. I'm under the weather, but thankful for today..:)
Oh, poor drawers, hope they dry out unmoldy, haha..Always enjoy reading your one-of-a-kind poetry!
