I can picture it with your description, Justi. It would feel weird for a Canadian, I think, to live in an area where bass are jumping at the end of November!

It is absolutely beautiful, small and still close enough for whatever, we are central to Atlanta, Huntsville, Birmingham and Chattanooga. We have an excellent theatre, museums and lots of retirees.

The weather seems to go from one extreme to the other, and quickly. We very rarely get a Spring or Fall anymore!

Nice, colorful post Justi!
I don't even bother to put seasonal clothes up and away anymore, chances are I'll need to trade the cords for a pair of shorts in a couple of days, lol. Wonderful to have a spot for flowering plants; I'm planning on having one by next year. Stay comfy and in bloom..:)
