Oh yes, there is a lot of cooking that goes with Thanksgiving. It impresses me.

To be sure Justi, I am like you in a way I had a man to help me and instead of letting him get on with it I tried to keep up with him and knocked myself out the following two days. Thirty years difference, is bit hairy. We should know better by now.

I feel the sam about my kitchen, and I didnt realize how small it was until I tried doing all the cooking. I am exhausted as I have been fighting a cold or a sinus infection off and on for two weeks and this week has been the most challenging for me

KOn the day after Thanksgiving my mother brought me Downtown Newark years ago to Bamberger’s (Macy’s New Jersey)to see Santa and buy my Christmas gifts in the Kleins toy dept. basement. It had nice long rows of toys. She said that she would give them to Santa to nring back on Christmas. And it was the first glimpse of Christmas street lights across and on poles like Newarl still does but with all those department store buildings vacant like Ancient Rome. Did those years sound like Black Friday love? BC-A, Bill’s R®stmany

Thanks you for your comments on my blog, Justi. I don't claim to everything
about any subject and i am glad to learn. But your argument is not convincing either. But come on. Never mind. We can always agree to disagree.
Coming to this post, I can well understand your feeling when there's guests to entertain and a load of responsibility. One thing I've learned is to make guests feel at home, so much so they are involved in the arrangements as well. :-)

After a holliday, I always tell myself I will never entertain again. I also tell myself I will never want to eat again, but I always do, and sooner than you think. LOL. So, I just take things one day at a time.

You are Priceless and it ain't lying cos what you is really tellin' is that
you love to have folks over, you just don't like being so tired after. Now I really don't entertain any more and that really pleases me.
