I look forward to giving and receiving Christmas cards in the mail. I've read a lot how E-Cards and online interaction has replaced a lot of mail.

I still believe that the handwritten card is more meaningful
but the world is changing and we are changing with it.

I have gotten lazy. I only send cards in the mail to people who don't have email, and that is very few these days. Most everyone I know has a computer. So, in turn, I get very few Christmas Cards to display as I used to. But that is fine with me. I like the internet ones fine.

Well Kabu, you are going to think me horrible, but I just stack my Christmas cards in a pile. I once knew an old man who kept his on display all the year round. I don't know which is worse. Do you wear pantyhose? I don't know what it is but I just saw it on my online dictionary, I was thinking of buying in bulk and distributing it according to need.

I've heard even email cards get lost in the sorting machines around Christmas...

I do have a few cards to send off to some friends abroad Grandmummy, but not nearly as many as I used to have...makes me sad, really.
We really enjoyed the present you sent for my birthday/Christmas last year...I shared them with Margaret and Mum and Tricia. Love you.

I remember my folks doing the same sort of thing at Christmas, like you, we only send out a few. As for the flags on the pups, I never paid too much mind to them, it was the pups action and the word customs that struck me funny...No ill towards Australia or the United States.

I've got the cards -- I've got the list (somewhere)...
I need to buy some postage stamps. Ho! Ho! Ho! At least this year my grandson's not in Kosovo or Iraq...

Cards used to be such a thing! Can remember running to the mailbox and all excited to hand grandma a handful of cards. I have a couple of friends who still send them out. It's fun to receive, but like you, I think electronic is the way to go. A great read, Kabu!

Well then, I'd better start thinking of cards I suppose. Maybe I'll just quit this year, send 1 to Mr. Graysome.
