{In 1960 Hurricane Donna brought down trees like Sandy. In 1993 Irene took off a few roof tiles and loosened our antennae. My mother hired a man to put it back up. Now sandy caused power outage on this block twice. That has to be a record! BC-A, Bill’s R®st

It has been raining very heavily with strong wind and thunders and lightning that's frightening here throughout the whole Malaysia in these recent couple of months. Well, to me, I think the earth needs a little refreshing moment. Hmm.. just the positive thinking.

I guess not every business or profession is affected by weather conditions

except if they be extreme. But as always it is a treat to see how you approach a topic and write so lucidly about it

Very interesting.  A distant cousin who owns property in the Outer Banks of NC sent info and a video today of what the Nor'easter, on top of Sandy, has done there--lots of damage by the high tides washing away all the sand and new rivers of seawater forming where they shouldn't be.  The houses on those stilts all look so scary with no land.

I am just scratching my head about the weather patterns. I think that

weather has patterns some short term others that follow patterns for long long times.

I think you have hit on something big here FSI, the weather is something we can all relate too. I have always wondered if earth quakes and volcanoes are considered weather. Perhaps we will hear something like this (Today it will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of mild earth quakes later in the evening) on the weather forecast out west someday.

well if you take the humanity element and concentrate on that you will be giving a positive twist or angle to a devastating experience....how the world pulls together to help those in need....good luck!

I suppose if one sells fur coats one wishes for harsh weather. I guess you do not sell sunshades or parasols FS.

This is like saying it's not what happens, it's how you react to it, is it FSI?
