for one thing there are a lot more people and homes as the world gets overpopulated making it harder to be out of the way of a disaster  I know in CA people live up in the hills and houses would burn down or fall off as the rains came where the fires had been, but that doesnt stop them from rebuilding in the same area and have it happen all over again.

Yes I agree. this is all much bigger than any of us are. It humbles me. It happened in our town two years ago. The devastation was all around us, but it swept through. People were homeless, without power, water and it lasted for weeks. We were fortunate our only concern was where to help, how to help and how do we choose what to do. It was amazing to watch those who were setting up feeding stations and taking charge of things.

Disaster - what a terrible word with a terrible meaning.  It is such that we cannot really fathom such unless and until it should happen to us.  Even looking at the photos on the internet, I cannot really imagine what it would really be like to be in the middle of it happening.  We must pray for each other, and help all we can in whatever way we can.

Yes dear one our Planet is fragile. God has all that under control. God is supreme and Sovreign. He will see to all the creatures. He has created them without sin and they will be in Heaven. All people are not God's children but that is their choice alone. All one has to do is accept Him as their savior since Jesus took all the hurt, illness and sin upon his own body to give us salvation for the asking. Man's wisdom is worthless in such circumstances without the love of God. Your prayers will avail much and there will be miracles. There always are. Just have faith that God will work against the looters and for the hurting.  I am always overwhelmed at the amount of love you show to all living things and a few dwellers on your land who are not living, well maybe not. Lol.

Yes it is so sad Justi, one can only pray for those devastated by these terrible storms. A lot of truth in your work

Praise God. There will be more and more answered prayers and the Christians see themselves (ourselves) and become salt and light to those suffering. I prayed for you because I thought you lived in the area but did not know how you were staying on here. May God bless you and enable you to pray and help.

mDAnd another storm’s coming on Wednesday. I had heard myself that a nor’easter was predicted for later this coming week in New Jersey. Seaside Heights boardwalk and town’s destroyed. It’ll take six to eight months before natural gas is restored. Every single home’s lines are damaged. And another Jersey shore town and boardwalk Belmar’s destroyed. Governor Christie ordered gas rationing now. And other towns are crippled without natural resources. Long lines wait at the gas station where I normally buy coffee at the bus nstop has long lines for gasoline and gallons of gasoline for generators. So the convenience store’s closed. And the gas station and convenience store at the other end of the bus line where I work’s closed. I received answered prayers for power restored on Tuesday night. As my church’s road sign says: "Sandy has come and gone, but the Lord will never leave us or forsake us. It received power back last night love. BC-A, Bill’s
