What a wonderful basket. I must say, I have never given or received anything that looked so home-made tasty and appetizing.

Hi Justi, sounds awesomely delicious and a good thought for the deserving too. I truly hope everyone is ok - safe and sound as I read of the damage in New York.Thank you for reading me and your kind comment.

I am glad you like that. I also grow Pineapple Sage. It is so awesome in bloom. I make Champaign jelly with the blossoms suspended in the jelly it is beautiful.

Oh I like it that you use lemon thyme, it is one of my favorite herbs to grow, you touch it and your hands smell like lemons for hours. I also grow pineapple sage, it smells just like pineapple and with the same results. Your basket looks wonderful.

what a wonderful gift basket and better put together more elegant and
tempting than anything from a store. Yes one would like to take hot soup and beverages around to all who are needing them and my prayers go out to all who are suffering loss and grief and hardship and to those that are helping them.

Oh yes I usually add a good robust red wine. I will it in this when I open it to serve while warming (cooking a bit) it gives a fullness to the other flavors I think.

I like your spaghetti sauce! I make one that's similar sometimes (I have different kinds) and I often add some red wine. The alcohol boils away, of course, but it adds another dimension to the sauce...

All so beautifully displayed Justi. I know you would do miracles if you could. Sadly there is a limit to what one person can do in these circumstances.
