It is a method to get a foothold where one needs to simply move on in accusing the other party. As the Bible says Isaiah 1:18 Let us come together and reason. Acturally the following is the exact scripture.
" Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, " Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

I thank you for your offer to have me read and discuss with you this situation and or issue. That would be an exercise in futility. You have already said you do not get it. You need years more understanding and study on the subject to get into a debate on the issues if you do not know more about the founders and their work. You also would need to have several years of Prophetic studies since all that is happening now is recorded and many of us are not at all surprised. We are only surprised that those who claim to some sort higher than average understanding and eduction has no clue to what is actually happening. You are calling my understanding of reality a 'mind set'. There is a bridge you would have to cross to understand any of what I am living under.
Again I thank you for your offer.

I am not keen on political correctness either. A lot of conversation stopped flowing as a result...

What does being a Christian nation mean?
Creator and God are written in the Declaration of Independence, but as "their Creator" and "Nature's God" which in my view means the individual's perception of a higher power, whatever that may be; not The Creator or by Christ. I realize the majority of Americans self identify as Christian, but in a free country, shouldn't the minority's knowledge, intellect, belief systems and worth as citizens be respected? I don't think that is political correctness, (which by the way, does enable civil and effective discourse, but I agree that it can be overused) I think it is an embrace of our heritage.
Just trying to understand, because I know many folks who are of your mind set yet I cannot seem to grasp the actual meaning of their words and phrases.
I am going to write a post on this subject soon if you don't mind and would be honored if you read and told me what you think, politically correct or not..:) Well, never hurts to ask, lol..

Scared? Yep! Tacky? Probably! And you're right . . . political correctness was one of the worst plagues to ever hit our society! Whoever coined that phrase and began this downward spiral should be boiled in oil! And not BP oil either!

As a Canadian, I fully appreciate the U.S. I invite people to conduct a little 'thought experiment': Imagine the US did not exist, but that its territory were divided between Spain (Mexico), France, (historically quite possible), Britain (ditto) and Russia (if the Russians had decided to seriously push south from Alaska)...We would have a different world, but certainly not a better one; in fact, I think it would be far worse...
