Those biscuits look delicious, and taste even better, I'm sure! Just by looking at them I feel I'm gaining weight, though...

You have me in the mood to eat a biscuit, and I just had lunch.

Well you are the cook Justi we buy something like those in boxes but they always taste of baking powder. Yours look good enough to eat as I know they are.

You have to come down for a visit and leave the diet home for a few days. I love to cook and I am lining up my Holiday food gifts....

It is almost impossible to find. We make sorghum mustard and our Mennonite feed store finds it for us now. It is excellent just like I had as a child. One of my first memories of doing things with my Grandfather was going to the 'syrup mill' where it was made.

I grew up on sorghum butter on biscuits.   Haven't had any good sorghum in years.  Actually, it's been years since I made biscuits.  Old Johnny Lyons grew sorghum all his life and cooked it right there on his farm.  The last bucket of sorghum we bought from him tasted burnt.  He was getting so old, I think he didn't watch it carefully enough.
