- Go to Another day older and deeper in debt
Glad you got it resolved. Thanks for reminding me of the song. I used to like it. It is sooo relevant for today. But life goes on and God still blesses.

SSixteen Tons another BC-A top 10. Tennessee Ernie Ford also had TV specials with Andy Griffith and Jim Nabors. I love the nostalgic TV ad. We had an Italian TV brand Andrea table model. Before that one we had a Zenith console and radio console. After the Andrea we had RCAs. My own first TV portable was Motorola manufactured by the car radio and cell phone company when they were Dutch. My last TVs home were Zenith and Panasonic. I had a Toshiba HD in my old apartment. I sold it to Mrs. Sun love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

If it works, it's a blessing.
What I like about the new flat screen things is they are light enough that I can carry them. The big old Motorola in the basement is bulky and I couldn't get it up the stairs if I wanted to. They charge us around here to recycle old electronics...

ell I said if I my tele goes home I'll not get another, but I know Arthur will keep nagging me to get one. The nephews will soon spend it, he will remark accusingly . I suppose it's right. They seem to have most things they want even if they can't afford it, pass me the caviar.

Unfortunately the TVs of today (the flat screen, plasmas, etc.) don't last as long as the ones in the ad you shared with us. We had one recently die on us that we'd only ad for a year and to get it fixed would have cost more than buying a new one. grrr Enjoy you new TV!

I remember having a TV just like that one before Dad went for color years later. How happy to have a new TV. I remember I sold an old Micky Mantel baseball card to get ours. I hope you never need that warranty. And I love that song, I was just listening to Tennessee Ernie Fords' cover of that old tune. Great post today Kabu.
