Surrounded by gamers...

... whose dice are d-6, d-10, d-12, d-20.... even d-100...  They are only cubic no longer... I even have seen round dice...  and dice inside of dice, which the gamers refer to as 'alien' or 'pregnant dice. Dice don't come in pairs, they come in sets. 

I think of the 50s, and plush dice hanging from the rear view mirror... and now, when those plush dice are 12-sided...
