No I have not but I think they would do very well. Two things I am careful to do. Spray the inside of the jar very well so they will come out eaisly. Not to fill them over half full, do not use cake mix it will mess up and always use big mouth jars. Good luck you will do fine and they are such great gifts. Let us know.

I think a lot about all the good things I could make if I just had the getup and go that I used to have. After you wrote about jar cakes (which I'd never heard of) I googled them and found how to do it and then started thinking up what kind would be fun to do. I was wondering if you have ever made pineapple upside-down jar cakes.

I don't think of it taking a lot of patience. It, to me, is like cooking. Wish you were my neighbor you cook I can we share. I have a neighbor who does some of that.
