Go to A DAY OR SO IN MY LIFE! WHO CARES?
- Add a comment
- Go to Sgt. Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band or is it?
Sounds like the chicken, vegetables and herbs will make a great combination for a fine meal some day!

Just to give y'all a hand I sat with my wee chalice in my hand tonight and prayed for you and George. I've done a picture for you
so you know the prayer is said for y'all.

I wish I could have a garden but there are too many rabbits, squirrels, mice, rats ( I think the city finally got rid of them or they are back underground now that all the digging is finished) and raccoons and I don't know what else that scavenge around our area since we have a man made lake in our subdivision...

Go for it ...I don't grow vegetables but we have the space so that I could
if I need to and we don't even need a deep freeze here in the winter.

It's nice to be self-sufficient, though I would have a hard time if I tried it. I'm not good at growing stuff, and I don't know the first thing about canning, LOL. But my mouth is watering when I think of your apple pie...

Justi you have the ambition of a lot of folk here, only they would not like to kill a sickily chicken and one just cannot find a property like that these days. Fifty years ago yes they were around. Anything near a town not in the green belt would be over half a million pounds it would be the land one was paying for. Lovely to have space it won't be there forever.

Sounds like you have it all planned out, and knowing you, you will do it. I'm going to have nightmares now of you slaughtering a big hog while it is squealing and trying to get away and hog blood everywhere. I guess I'll just have to do without bacon if worse comes to worse. LOL
