Im so glad you're feeling better! About the books: I recall reading somewhere, some time ago, that the books' owner was giving them away book by book, by leaving them in public places with a lot of traffic (e.g a bench in a mall), with a note inside, saying simply 'Read, enjoy, and then pass it on'. Got rid of many books that way...

why not donate them to a local prison ... their libraries are usually sparse and many books are very old....

Happy you are feeling better, Justi, but, as TAPS commented, be careful not to overdo it. I think you have been already paying it forward most of your life...that term could have been named for you. How about donating the books to a detox centre? One finds all types of people there; I can imagine many of them would appreciate having something to read to escape their personal hell for a few hours.

Good news that you feel better Justi. Don't give George's  favourite jacket away he might be able to wear it in the summer.

Glad you are feeling well enough to go tomorrow, but do not overdo.

They are you r books and you love them. You should make sure they go to a good home. Perhaps a school, or a church.
