hey friend. Long time no write. Well, if this doesn't depict you to the tee nothing will. You are a caregiver/co-dependent/awesome person. But, with all that has happened in my life over the last few weeks, I'm finding out slowly but surely, that we have to make ourselves happy and content before we can truely make others happy and content. Its sad, but an analogy that comes to mind is this; when I was an active addict, if I didn't have dope, I wasn't able to function as a father, husband or an employee. So, that's why I got as deep as I did. If we could turn that frame of mind and apply it to our lives, we would make sure we were healthy, happy and nurtured before we looked to make everyone else good. I've been finding out that the guilt I've had for so long is slowly disapating b/c I am making sure I AM GOOD FIRST! In turn, my children and family get the best me. Love and respect! One! Ace
