Yes, there is something liberating about being there...It is amazing how the pace is now.

Nostagially written Kabu, soon it will all be lost, people soon forget. Once it would have been told from generation to generation, it bound families together and honoured their history.

You really expressed his 'sugar high' from the chocolate really well, and he'd need that to to do that job for sure. Learning that 'arvo' means afternoon blows me away but then we sure have our weird words built in here too love. I love these historical posts love.

Wow! This felt more real than my own memories of cowboys
in the old days in the American west... I could see the Southern Cross - see the dogs circling the wooly ones, feel the tired ache in the bones after a long day on a horse. Great dialect. As Justi said, I could hear his voice. :)

I agree with Justi - print is audible. I like Bluey's way..and his choice of dog.

Oh thank you so much. I love your stories. I love to hear (you see print is audible when told well) Bluie drives the sheep, you can see them along the road where he hobbles the horses and keeps the sheep mobbed so all is well as he naps a bit, just a bit. Good work.
