It can be a relief to do something constructive with things that are ready and still good enough to be passed on, and so good to have the space again.

I am glad to read that the truck showed. It is indeed a good feeling to donate something that someone else will find to be of great use.

Kabu

Let's hope your donations are actually being put to good use instead of gathering dust and moths in some warehouse somewhere...

I have to believe these Embassy attacks were planned months ago, but whether or not the news is indeed sad, yet predictable if we were to listen our friend Naut. Have fun in garden and be well.

glad they finally showed up  I figured that was the reason they were so late, the time frame they were coming.  But didnt you so few know how to do their jobs, because they hire people for low wages and they dont train them properly

I am saddened at the news too! I was horrified to learn of one of our ambassador being murdered because of what another person put on line! The extremists are so out of control world-wide that it is frightening! Good for you to recycle things you won't be using! I also admire folks who do what they can to get by or even to get to the next level! There is a lot of both sides in my country! I intently dislike it when I see young people getting food stamps when they are perfectly capable of getting a job, even if it's fast food, it's still work! Nice to catch up with you again, too! sam

There are millions who are out of work and not living on the dole. They long ago passed that point. A wonderful young woman who apprenticed design under me worked after as a sales person for a fashion house for fifteen years that went belly up over two years ago, she was let go, without the earned sales commission not collected. She long ago used all her allocated dole and used her 401 K to live on. She did all sorts of charity work, helped others and has now listed a group of manufacturers who also are in bad shape and using her own funds to market them.  She will only be paid if she sells and the sales are collected.  News does not cover this sort of thing. They do not cover those who do not get a job after the dole runs out, they just say those no longer looking; they are looking. I am really proud of your man who picked up the goods and who knows the woman not able to get times straight may have problems too.

Good thing they got there and your mind is satisfied once again.

I agree, the world news is so grim we need to just stand in our own back yard, in a setting that seems peaceful and logical, and just take a few deep breaths. Hope all your gnomes are enjoying your kind attention. :)

Yes, I'm afraid it is the news-mongers who have no sense of self.  One must set that awful stuff aside and seek peace and solitude where one can for healing of the soul.

Lets hope he has first dibs into the containers with a soothing game of golf next week riding to the course on his newly aquired bycycle and wearing one of your hats.
