Well, it's fun to watch children playing together but sometimes annoying when they shout.

Reconnecting with old friends
Kabuiepal,
Well, to paraphrase the little girl in, Polterguist," I'm BACK!" I'm pretty sure that most people never even noticed that I was among the missing, the dead, or demented to such a degree, that it makes me no longer welcome in the company or the gentle, gentile, or other arguably civilized, people. We motley colonials have appropriately short memories to go along with our notoriously short attention spans, I fear. Much catching up to do with all of the residents of blogitville.Good for me, to be back in touch with you and Wiley . Give him my best, will you Helen? I haven't posted ANYTHING since mid-March!
Blogging does get under one's skin and the itch to write (scratch what itches) doesn't seem ever to stop! I do know that I really, REALLY missed the composing and then all the prodding, all the teasing and joking with all of my buds. I didn't miss all the caterwalling, crying and complaining, but I'm not doing as much of that lately, as I was a few months ago.
Love to you both!
Guy

Suppose a pack of little boys appealed to the dog it could run round and keep an eye on those nasty big men who came waving little flags and tried to stuff them in the door. Are you sure you had all those goodies to give away, I thought you might have had a few biscuits. It must have been quite an affluent time for you all were you always over generous.

I am curious to see where this goes...I wonder what's going to happen between the old grump and the small boys.

Memory Lane growing up
we had one huge backyard as we went from neighbor to neighbor playing ball or tag or hide and seek.

He reminds me of Mr. Rook to the west of my parents old house. He paid me to mow his lawn once a week, but if something got into his back yard there was h-e-double-hockey-sticks to pay, or a reduction on my wage of a dollar a week. My other three customers gave me two each. I just know this is going to get good.

I love little boys. I had so much fun with my four, and then with all my grandsons. My two granddaughters and my great-granddaughter are very special, but there's just something about little boys....
