Busy but slow at the same time. Sometimes that's not so bad . . .

Re: controversyme

I'd like to thank you for kind comment...You've hit the nail on the head about content being the key...I look at this blog and my other blogs for that matter as journals...I have had dreams of publishing a book, short stories and poems and have gone so far as to write first drafts of a few novels, a novella, poems and several short stories. Now I am doing the editing to make this happen.

Hi FS, I so wish I'd had joined the site when you first started this blog and had the time to go back and read what I've missed because I really enjoyed, as I've said, reading about you, your family, and the business. I love this blog entry because it gives me, as a reader, a peek into your process and the difficulties you experienced while writing and it all makes so much sense. It's the same, I think, for any type of writing. Content is key. Keeping the reader interested while not cluttering it up with unnecessary information. Staying on focus and not going off into needless tangents is difficult when there's so much to say. From what I've seen you've done a great job. Maybe I missed it, or maybe you haven't written it, I don't know, where it is you're going. Are you practicing becoming a published author of a book, was this simply a journal...? Whatever your goal, my opinion, for what it's worth, is that you have the potential to write something really good. It seems as though you've gotten the gist of writing structure and form, now it's just a matter of what you're going to write. Will it be from your imagination or will be a non-fiction piece of your expertise? Hmmm, I hope I'm able to stick around long enough to find out what comes next. Have fun, good luck, and I look forward to reading more of your writings.

I guess for a car-wash man watching the weather is a natural as for a sailor...

I guess you keep an eye on the sky. Dad seems to be keeping well after his problem.

I know a couple of guys who have storage and do very well with it. Your dad is a wise man.
