this is not about a comparison between Obama and Dictators. It is about not being involved as long as we are a free Nation. Those people were not involved. We must not make that mistake no matter who is running for president.

I hope Taps hasnt left I love her blogs, but we cant all see life the same way. I cant believe you are comparing Obama to those dictators, I just dont see it.

It is good that Taps stayed, I enjoy you both so much. As far as politics I see what you see and when a person loves their country they are bound to speak out when things do not look right to them. After reading Mr. Obama's books and learning about his life and the way he was mentored I am terrorfied of his leadership. Like you said there have been so many throughout history who have failed to see where their leaders were taking them until it was too late that I feel compiled to speak up. I think Taps knows that about both of us, and I think she knows how much you care for her as well.

Hi Justi I don't think you offended Taps, sometimes it is difficult if you like someone to accept everything they say even if it is the truth. It not that one does not agree fundamentally, but they just do not want to carry on down that road and prefer to feel comfortable in a safer environment . Personally I don't care what anyone writes I know you have a strong personalty and practise what you preach which is pretty rare these days.Sometimes conflict of opinions strike old wounds and has nothing to do with the present content. Don't worry. Chin up.

I treasure you and Taps and many others on here some of whom have no idea that I respect and treasure them. God is the only way. He must not be taken out of our country's directions. When a country falls it is too late to raise it again. I am sorry but I feel I must do all the varying things I do. This blog is not dedicated to political thinking alone, not by a long shot but it is a crucial time and I am expecting God to be in this. I am so happy about your one son and praying for both of them. Thank you.

TAPS, thank you for writing this. I am not trying to draw you into a debate. I do too work in many other areas of hurting people and you are so right about that. If you have your settled mind about politics then ignore me. I was not debating politics but drawing out thoughts on why my post was so ignored. Come to find it was not. You are a woman of such strong mind, talent, faith and I have no intentions of offending you in any manner or trying to do so. Please accept my apology and pick up again where we left off.

What a blow it would be for us all if our Taps or you left because of
Politics. Last night one person died because of politics up here, and another is fighting for his life. What stupidity is that? I have taken the wise words from you spoken to me that have helped me more than you will ever know....and just hand this whole situation to God and let his way be the right way. Daily sometimes hourly I clear that stone from my chest.....your problem God....and now I have the older son and Co. visiting me next year. Not my way but I see it as God's way. I have you to thank for my changed thinking. You and Taps are Kinda precious to me...so ...God, deal with any hurt and pain that has been here today.

I'm afraid I haven't gone anywhere, Justi, just made a few changes. I must admit, I was tempted to leave, not because you offended me (I don't offend easily), but because I really am not up to debating politics and I refuse to do it. Blogit must be, for me a light and airy place, a place of enjoyment such as delightful childishness. I am no longer called to ferret out the world's wrongs and try to right them. There are other ways to help the teeming masses of needy people.
