Amen hunger is the same for men and women I think. Communist take over will hurt the same for both sexes. We have lost our ability to be civil. Welcome home.

The 'decay' of the family is a huge issue in our soiety, and nobody seems to have any realistic, workable answers...Aside from that, and with all due respect, we are faced with far greater problems than those relating to 'women's issues'...

One of the pieces of rhetoric that I am extremely tired of listening to, which comes from both camps, is how various demographics are constantly being pointed out as a "market" each side must obtain. They're campaigning for the female vote, the black vote, the Latino vote, the Christian vote, etc., etc., etc. How about simply campaigning for the American vote? Aren't we all in the same boat?

I am not registered and dont plan on registering and I dont complain about the world situation, I agree about the young people these days do everything backward when it comes to having kids and living together and someday they may get married, but at the same time I cant see how Romney or anyone will make a difference that your husband will all the sudden get a job.  That doesnt make sense to me, what is Romney going to do that anyone else cant do to make jobs all the sudden appear?  Besides one of the problems is the world is already overpopulated and Romney certainly did his share to add to that issue

Oh yes, both genders are not the same...I wonder if the "War on Women" the Democrats are talking about will pay off in the end.

Re:

Thank you for reading. Our political situation is terrible looking at what we have as government presently. I hope for better.

You know it. They cloud the issue to get votes. It seems any idiot would understand that equality means just that in the work place and outside equality is being different. Thank you for your comment.

This is so true. There are too many who haven't a clue of what is at stake but we must get him out of there to survive. Go see 2016

You are right Kabu, I have never missed voting since 1957. I am taking care of me. Love you.

Good blog  Justi I cannot comment as I never follow your politics only what I read in the paper and I guess it is a job to go by that.

ZQuality of work by all and quality in relations like described in the old songs should be the norm. When I was young both political party conventions were interesting to watch love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

A very wise woman you are, Justi. I agree with you - although equality of the sexes in the workplace is a must, so is the realization that woman and men ARE NOT the same. They have different needs, and often different views. Lip service is only that - and voters need to be able to distiguish between the politicians' hogwash and their sincere desires to work with both.

I am like you in that I watch both conventions. However I am so afraid that if this president is given four more years that freedom will be a thing of the past. His rules and regulations have already shut down the country to 25 million workers and a pipeline that would help both this country and our good friends to the north.

bless you darling, a busy and a worrying time for you Americans

these next few months.....voting is so important especially I feel as a woman. Our ancestors; Grandmothers, fought hard for us to vote, so to honour them we should be sure always to use that right they gave to us... but you take care of you first.
