that is what everyone says about here, its hotter than normal, in the winter it was colder than normal, so what is normal

Yes, the weather has gotten a bit cooler by us as well ( it feels wonderful ). And never worry about whether or not you can always leave a comment on anyone's blog. Sometimes when you read someone's writings, you may simply have nothing to say about it. I know I sometimes don't ( even though I read as many as possible! ).

Yes, Justi - a slow week, especially with cooler weather for sleeping, is probably what you need. Now & then we all have to use self-imposed brakes, before our body does it for us. I have a pear tree here - it blossoms each year, but so far no fruit. I've had it for 4 years - I hope to eat its fruit one day.

I wish we could grow peaches Justi but it is never really warm enough we always used to bottle things in the old days, it looks far nicer to unscrew a jar of fruit than to prise it out of the freezer. As long as you are keeping fine do not worry

It was so good to hear from you after such a long absence. We too are picking pears today, hoping the birds left us enough to put up.
