Hi ace, yep, you're right. I have battled and won many battles, even tho some of the wins didn't exactly feel like wins at the time. I'll be okay. I know I will. I've been through much more than this and really I'm not even feeling so bad right now. Maybe it just hasn't sunk in completely yet, but as of today, I feel mostly freed and relieved. I'm sure it will hit me in the next day or so tho and I'll be boohooin all over the place, lol. Oh well (sigh). My little ones aren't so little, they're 151/2 and 18. They're pretty smart cookies too. :-) They keep me going though. Without them I don't know what would have become of me. Being a mom has been the biggest and bestest joy I could ever want. Even the times when I want to pull my hair out, I wouldn't trade it for my life before my kids for anything. Thanks for the visit, read, and comment ace. Ttys. Thanks for listening too. I'm a big cry baby, I know.

Nice post. Heart-felt and real. Have to do what's right for you to ensure you are healthy mentally and physically to take care of those little ones. You will pull thru. I'd be willing to bet you have battled (and won) several situations in your past. ace

For me, everything seems so surreal, I feel like I'm walking around in a nightmare I can't wake up from. I know that the hurt is temporary though and that it won't kill me. I'll be stronger and wiser. Thank you CCT for the visit, read, comment and support. All are truly appreciated.

Omg, so hard to let go! Probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but some things just must be done no matter how hard they are or how much they hurt. Better to be hurt one time than to be continuously hurt over and over and over. That's torture. I'ma get over it and be stronger and wiser. Thanks wiley, I didn't completely understand what you wrote but I got that you liked it and I appreciate that. Unfortunately this poem was inspired by a real break up and it's heart wrenching. As always thank you for the read, and comment.

Touched my heart, excellent poem about real life.We had to break a relationship with a couple I'd had for twenty years or more. They just didn't treat my Kabu respectfully and allowed me to see what I disliked about them for all those years. They had been teaching confreres of my deceased wife and I just had to wipe them out of my life. Sorry luv, your poetry was like having a psychotherapist tell me something really true.
