sandyc,
Thank you for reading and commenting. Its always a pleasure to here from a new blogger. I checked your member profile and see that you have yet to post anything. I hope this changes soon -- I'm looking forward to anything you may care to share with us. I was a member for five days before I posted anything. My advice is to go ahead and jump in. Get your feet wet and don't get discouraged if you don't seem to get any immediate response through comments or ranking. It usually takes a little time because there is so much available to read on the BN each and every day. It took me almost a week to earn my first penny and it seemed like forever until I got that first dollar under my belt. Its a pretty good bunch here and most of them will welcome you with open arms once they become aware of your presence. I welcome you now and look forward to your first post.

best time to write
Try as I might to change my hours - it always seems that my creativity perks up from eight in the evening on ... sometimes quite late "on". I can't think straight in the mornings (even when I've gone to bed early! ), and afternoons are usually busy with other things, so it's usually evenings when I have the time to sit and put all those thoughts down on paper (and I still HANDwrite stuff first ). This is my first time on here - I enjoyed reading through your stuff. |

Very True
Most of us have to make an effort to find the time to write. In the last meeting of my local writer's group, we had a discussion on this topic and came to the conclusion that we each have a particular time when our creative juices really flow. One group member mentioned that she likes to write at mid-day, so she started driving around the corner from where she works and now spends her lunch hour writing in her car. Another member wakes up in the middle of the night to get her writing done; she doesn't sleep well anyway, and this is the least distracting time for her. The actual time the writing is done isn't important -- what is important is that we
make time to get our thoughts down on paper!
