It saddens me to see people go, too. I suppose I usually respond to people's interest in my blog by going onto their blog and commenting. Sometimes I will mention something that they had asked or said. I just think it's better that way, because a lot of times they don't come back to the same blog post, so they never get to see my response to their comment, whereas blogit tells them if I leave a comment on their blog posts. It also opens up a little time, because then I am on their page reading, instead of spending so much time on my own page.

Blogit has made it easier to for us to follow comments amongst many blogs as well.

Good thinking Justi, such is the fraility of human nature, we like to be rewarded for our efforts, Sadly I find replying to comments is very time consuming if one grows friendly towards the blogger. One can't just smack a kipper around everyone' s face./ No there are some nice gentle people out there, you included and some who one can kid along and
be bit saucy to because they like a bit of fun. I think probably six people replying is a fair number. Three or under and feel like jumping off of the blogit high wire with no safety net.

Guilty as charged! I do read all the comments on my blog, and on others' blogs too before I even comment myself (unless I'm the first one there which is rare). I used to reply, then seemed to lack time, but you do make a good point. I'll try to reply to my readers more often.

A great post luv, you made good points.I commented lots and then I had to back off because of health and fatigue so cut back to just trying to read folks that I feel 'attached' to after a lot of years and some newer folks I love as well. I would hate to see Blogit drop off the map and I will do my best to stay at it even if all I post is what I feel is humor. God Bless you two.Enjoyed this 'chat' and we love you both.

I always look for you too. I love that you post often. I love that you always comment on my post, but I would love to get into a long conversation sometimes about issues or fun things people have done recently. It is so friendly that way I think, but I will take your lovely comments and post anyway I can get them.

Hmnnnn I am bad with this, I do return reads and will often re comment
at a friends post. I enjoy reading such a diversity of posts that I run out of time to reply to comments but sometimes I reply in my friends post. Perhaps I will rethink, for you make a great point.
I read all sorts of people who never come near my post just because I enjoy what they write. I could never deliberately miss your Posts. You are my darling.
