Re:

Hmmm, point taken Jay and for the most part I agree. I think one person can make a difference and I try to encourage more people to take a stance and that's why I write the way I do. I want to shake people out of their comfort zones and hopefully give them a boost to let their voices be heard. Power comes in numbers, and the more people advocate for which ever cause(s) they believe in the stronger their voices are. Thank you for the visit Jay, much appreciated.

The people do have a say. I have been a part of many campaigns, been involved with government and to say the people don't have a say only comes from those who have not gotten themselves involved. One person can do a lot. One person can change things, but not from bitching, from doing.

Re:

Ace, in general I stay away from political debates, it's like religion, everyone has an opinion and each opinion has it's value. As a whole I think that no president can "fix" the world in 4 years, or even 8 years. I know there is a reason we only let them be in office for a limited time but that also has it's down side. The first 4 years is putting their ideas, promises, campaign propaganda, into place, the remaining 4 years, IF reelected is seeing if those ideas work, after that someone new comes in with their own ideas and reorganizes again. With that there is no consistency, no organization, and no adhesivness as they all have their own personal agendas and are really just puppets of a much bigger organization. The people don't truly have a say and as quiet as it's kept, the president doesn't really run the country. Think about it ace. It doesn't matter who's in office, it's a battle of  power over the people, not FOR the people.

So, are you still "high" on Obama?  Where has he taken our country?  Where is the change?  I have not recognized any of it and I do not understand or I will not understand if he is elected again. His election was a movement.  A charasmatic young black scholar with absolutely no experience and all of the backing a candidate needs. After 4 years, it's hard for me to fathom people still drinking the cool aid.  I debate this subject regularly. Typically speaking, 99% of the time I get the, "He lowered our taxes, or he's for the middle class." With all said, our govt. was not designed to evolve into a govt. w/ socialistic values.  It's like having a big bag of money and Obama dumping it ou over a crowd. When the money runs out, the crowd turns on him.  Free interprise should be rewarded.  Instead, now a days, the business man who employs 40 employees and has a payroll of 150K/month is deemed a millionaire off of gross revenue and has to worry about paying more taxes, therefore, not being to be able to employ those forty men and women and therefore unemployment records breaking new boundaries. Then, people don't get why our economy is shit. Obama's policies do not work and will not work.  He's been in office for four years.  When will America be able to blame him? Or will it just be a racist comment or politically incorrect?  I hope we learned our lesson. Ace.

Re:

That it is formerstudent, that it is. I'm a die hard democrat, but whoever becomes our president I will respect the peoples decision. I'm an american and it's true that united we stand, devided we fall, so no matter which side of the fence people sit on, in the end we should all practice some acceptance and support our country. Thanks again for the read, visit and comment. Have a good day.

Blessings.
