The most common things is we need business to provide taxes to pay those needed people that comes from workers who exist because we have business. Without business we have no taxes soon and no money for anybody.

They who dear. It is the people who have to understand we need tax money, it comes from workers, the more our government downs business the less money we have to pay those we need.

It is amazing how complex taxes are and where all the money goes. It's so mind boggling.

C.C.

Thank you so much for this comment. It is what it is all about. The money to pay the salaries for those people we really needs requires that there are enough workers to generate enough taxes to pay them.

I think this will be the cap on our branching out.

Do you remember Justi, Napoleon called us a nation of shopkeepers?  A lot of folk think money comes out of thin air, it has to be earned by someone or from savings that have accrued over time, once not so long ago the pitiful little pension was no problem as there were many workers to support each pensioner. Soon there will be more pensioners than workers (or those who don't want to work) what happens then. Sadly one has to be quite firm with these organisers, It is alright picking on easy going people like your hubby

but they need to get new blood to help out, I think you both do enough. Just take care ,

That is exactly what I was trying to get across. It takes all including business, free of Union and fully successful to support all that should be supported by the government.

I fully agree. I have a daughter who is a school teacher, I am delighted to have the police, teachers and firefighters. I am only telling people we can not have them or any other thing without business. Business brings taxes and will pay them. A government cannot run without business and the more Obama is anti business and big government the poorer we will become. Thank You for your comment.

It is too many years for me to admit to, but I was using that as an example that there were times that it did happen. I guess Chick-fil-A is not out of the US. Thanks for reading.

I sure hope you'll feel better soon! BTW, here in Canada opening hours etc. are regulated by the province, and here in Ontario, as in most other provinces, everything has been wide open for years now, 24/7.

And I have no idea what this Chick-fil-A business is about, I don't think they operate here...

I was an educator for many years and even though the taxpayer paid my salary I worked at least four years for free with the numerous hours of meetings after the work day! So, I believe the taxpayer got a good bang for their buck when it came to me! And, I don't even want to count the other hours of volunteer school activity that I did because I thought it was important! And, then grading papers on my own time when others were off having a good time is another one I would not care to add up as well! Then there is the travel time, and the coaching and it goes on and on and on! Have a good day and I sincerely hope your health improves! sam

And that's what many people just don't understand. Every, single aspect of our economy is somehow interwoven with everything else, including our salaries, and the taxes we pay. Sometimes, when you hear about someone suing their state for some reason, they don't realize that the settlement comes out of their neighbor's pockets, in one form or another. It's a dangerous game, and an equally dangerous balancing act, that we now find ourselves in. I can appreciate all of your thoughts and opinions. Keep a stiff upper lip!
