Hi Troosha... more than a road trip; this is part of my education..!  I'm rediscovering my own country and visiting all the places I haven't seen through being away for so many years.  Edinburgh next.. really looking forward to it.

I've had a desire to visit these places ever since Dave Cryer used to write about them and post pictures of Derwentwater on Blogit.  Good to see you back.

Canada is such a young country that there are few historical places to visit (at least not dating back to the Romans). I’ve traveled across the big ocean at least a dozen times for this very reason; to tour around (mostly the south) and I love taking in the history just as you have on this outing you've shared with us. Sounds like wonderful road trip. (Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog, read numerous poems and leave such thoughtful comments).
