I had no idea it was Bloomsday (and confess I even had to look it up). I didn’t sip any Irish Whiskey but I did have a couple of Vodkas – does that count?

Sorry missed the whole thing. I do agree with my fellow Southerner, Corbin Dallas, a bit Wild Turkey is always good for the disposition or any other ailment or celebration, that is if you are a Southerner.

And I tip my glass, even though water, to James Joyce as well! I had a professor in college who was obsessed with Joyce and for that very reason I have not read much of him! Honestly, she had him on a pedestal and spent her life devoted to him! I love the back story on this holiday, too! sam
