- Go to TO OR NOT TO BE A BUSINESS OWNER, IS A RARELY ASKED QUESTION

It all sounds very interesting and potentially quite lucrative - my problem is I can neither sew nor cook, although I sometimes take a stab at the latter activity. If I were to take a stab at sewing, I would just end up, well, - stabbing myself...

I am happy you're not starting back at business. I know how difficult it all was as an entrepreneur for many, many years. You could write a book and sell it though and I couldn't do that because my work was all machinery that is pretty well on the scrap heap now and replaced by electronic and computer things. God Bless you and Geeorge and love to you both.

Thank you for the vote of confidence but I do not want more public contact than I have now. All my public contact is in ministry and appearance is not so very important. I would probably look like Rotund Rhoda. The last time I was on TV I weighed about 120 pounds, no I am not going to say what I weigh now. Thank you again for the kind comment.

They would have to be very generalized. I may try a few and see what the reactions are.

We never make rash claims. We let people know there is no such thing as hypoallergenic a person can be allergic to anything. You cannot create a product that is void of any reactions. In all the time from the cosmetic days on through the bath products we never had a single person have a reaction to our products. The regulations in the States are more on conducting business than on the product you are making or selling.

Thank you for your comment. There are risks, but there are fewer if the necessary precautions are taken in the beginning.

You ought to have a program on PBS Create Channel on TV and do your entrepreneur's teaching there. I'd love to watch it.

Lovely idea Justi , I once knew an old gypsy woman who could cure most rashes and horse problems with herbs of course that knowledge has gone. I expect today there would be so many regulations if one were starting a business which had medicinal properties. One might even need professional advice, I used to make toffee apples as a kid and make a few bob, but I expect that would be frowned on as not being hygienic.

I agree that not many would go into business as there are many risks to encounter and it is definitely all hard work and no play once you start one until you are settled and bringing home a decent income. A homemaker has the advantage of a leisurely work pace.Well there both the pros and cons.

people who can't get a job should be doing a home business and selling
on the Internet you should write a blog on how to start and what needs to be done to keep a business successful. Oh not big big projects but small make a few extra dollars from and to make ones life feel fulfilled. You are such a talented dynamic darling, you so amaze me with what you have done and with such success.

You may very well be right, it may be the economy and fear plays into it a lot. I will write some issues I believe are playing into this later.

I find that a lot of people don't want to have their own business today either. I imagine the economy is the big reason.
