It sounds like a grand celebration and extravaganza. The English know how to do things in style. Aussies sound English anyway; I can't tell the difference. A lot of my home business programs come from Aussies lately! You'll get your right pace to do things most likely.

You had better take your own advice. We are missing you already.

You can slow down a bit as you age, but you shouldn't stop altogether either! Gotta exercise the body as well as the mind! Long live the Queen!

We feel the same about that too darlin', proud to be royalist. We had a fun day in out of the cold and rain love.

I have always cherished our ties with the English, the Australians, and especially our friends to the north and New Zealand as well...It's nice to have good and time trusted friends.

Well Kabu that wretch Arthur is watching and chuckling at the commentators trying to make it all sound fun, it is a shame really, but if it was baking hot folk would be collapsing from sunstroke and water is meant to be wet, but all those pretty dresses,

Kabu.....
Interesting post in regards to the Queen and your feelings. Thanks for sharing.
Slowing down can be difficult when our minds can think of so many things that can & should be done, but a day of rain sometimes gives us a chance to chill out, slow down and enjoy life as we do what is right for our bodies.
So now that I read you headed for the kitchen to fix lunch, I am realizing that Hubby and I are both hungry, too! LOL

Quite a different thing, to witness the queen's celebration as it happens
and in full color. Not everyone had TV in those days. At the time of her coronation, it was black and white and a couple weeks later in the movie theater. We got our news of world events from newsreels that showed between features and the cartoons at a Saturday matinee. Some things have improved since the good old days. :)

I guess that weather is on its way here, Kabu. So far today has been a mixture of sun and clouds, but great walking weather this morning...now it's getting muggy...so you sent it along this way, huh?
