I use the touch free because I'm getting old and lazy but it disappoints me at times.

FormerStudentIntern...
Recently my daughter asked me to go out to lunch with her and to a car wash. She stated she doesn't like the automatic wash. I asked her why and she said I can get it cleaner by hand. After, she didn't seem to be too pleased with the results, although the machine still ate up a lot of her quarters. "Next time," she said, "I will wash it else where. I teased her saying, three people washing their cars and three people wearing white shirts as she dabbled a Kleenex down her shirt front side. "Will the stain come out, Mom?"
"Bleach, Dear." I said.
I prefer the automatic.
Nice reading you and thanks for the visit.

I know you won't like this FSI, but I prefer to wash my car at home, that way I can find every little nick and scratch and doctor them straight away. After all it is a 96 Lincoln with lots of miles, and my baby needs a soft touch. I keep her because I put a kickin stereo in her when I bought her, and I finally got it set up just the way I like it. When I do use the car wash, I prefer the touch less.

I hate handwashing cars, i don't know why. It's one task that I find horribly tedious, I will always choose the touch-free.

It depends on what mood I am in regarding whether I would wash a vehicle by hand or let the machine do it! Of course that was back in the day when I could drive! sam

we have switched to the automatic, it does clean the car well and dries it
and puts a protective wax on it. Now that we garage our car, it doesn't need a clean very often. It is less physical work for us as well. FSI...take my advice, don't get old. LOL

Right now I only wash my car when I know our area needs rain. It's usually a sure thing!
