IT is a horrible feeling that someone has violated one's private space.
I think that feeling is almost worse than what is taken. All the best and have a nice time away.

It does sound more like someone 'playing around' than a real attempt at breaking in. Still, it's very annoying.
In this country alarm systems are becoming ever more popular, and they're not terribly expensive. I haven't got one yet, because we live in a very qiet neighbourhood; but if I were away a lot...
