Re: I was quite impressed by this idea of giving a plant.....is it in lieu of
SF,
It seemed like it was in lieu of a card. Angie's family gave plants to all of her friends.

I planted a tree when each of my parents died and have enjoyed watching them flourish. It's a wonderful thing to do to honour and remember a loved one.

When my wifes mother passed someone from the church gave us a scouts pine. We have watched as it grows for nine years now. How nice for they thought of you so kindly.

I was quite impressed by this idea of giving a plant.....is it in lieu of

Amanda,
My prayers continue for you and Tony and for Angie's family during this difficult time. Yes, the angels sing with joy today, for she is home. The plant given you by her family will be a wonderfully loving way to honour the gift of her life on this earth.
I wish for you all at this time Shalom...peace.
