A lot to take in today FS I am afraid dementia does not get better until the very end when the victim is immobile . Perhaps your dad is overdoing it, I should keep an eye on him, perhaps he is not getting enough sleep at night snoring does keep waking one up. There are many perceived cures I tried a simple one which involves a stiff plaster across the nose and keeps the nostrils open, I don't like the idea of putting things in one's mouth, I would always be afraid of swallowing the object.
