Oops - I would have laughed too. I also liked the 3 stooges, so that says it all. Your Dad handled the situation very well, and no doubt that his sincere apology was what saved the day.

Dad acted absolutely properly and of course it was an accident

I had one of those stop on me once in the middle of a wash.  I had to get out and go to the office to tell them and then go get back in the car to wait until they did something.  LOL

It's no fun getting soaked and when another laughs it creates the anger! I so agree with you that a sincere apology goes a long way! sam
