There have been numerous fractures to the original constitution in the past couple of years. Our President, our Attorney General and so many more with no ability to have them come up to the plate with correction, truth or even consider this an infraction.

Hi .. It's difficult to think of the USA faltering in it's moral compass. I believe that the majority of our citizens are in action mode to uphold the original Constitution even though we continually hear differently in the media.

Well Justi we must not forget the past , but awkward cruel things appear to be soon forgotten. We can only hope that more understanding and rational thought will eventually come to the fore.

It is very scary
Regardless of how things turned out between Carl and I there is one thing I know for certain. I did not send my husband into a combat zone so we could elect someone who would chip away at our basic freedoms little by little.

Somehow, the forces in the Universe seem to always come together...
such that any calamity / extremity when it happens seems to be only temporary..though, quite understandably, it might seem to be forever for those then suffering..hence, keeping faith in Him, and thru Him in the goodness of the general world populace, eventually proves to be the wise course of thought & action, despite our temporal, understandable, frustrations.

the US is still the strongest country but with all the greed of large companies, and the unemployment the way it is, the companies dont have to treat people like people. That kind of actions is what weakens people and their believes and makes a lot of negative feel

I certainly hope it doesn't come to that, Justi. I have a feeling that some huge change is in the wind...not sure what...but something tells me it will get so bad that humans will be forced to finally pull together and make it good.
