Back when I was little I was taught to hold back and stay still...
I was obedient and polite..
but as I grew up, I realized I had a voice...
my own...no one else's...
So if I couldnt sing...I can at least speak my mind...
and express my heart...

While that is generally true, sweetie.. it does not have to be...
and actually should not be the way things work.
We have to be released from the confines of the thoughts and beliefs of others and find out ourselves who we are and what we feel.. learn what is truth and what is not..
I've been working on that for years, since before starting the studies in Metaphysical Sciences.
