Thanks for letting me be a part of your neighborhood. So glad you both enjoyed your Birthday (back to back). How cool is that!

I started out similar to you as well! I used to chuckle when I saw what I was making, I think my first month was 7 cents! LOL! But I have met great people on this site and have met a few in person, too! It's a great site, but you got the true bonus in finding Wiley as he has in finding you! Who would have thought that a site so seemingly innocent could bring about such fantastic results! I am with you, the birthdays can pile up but happiness out weighs it all at the end of the day! Here's to many more years of blogging! sam

We made nothing Kabu, all this was done by you, you lifted your life to higher planes, we just made the lifting a little lighter. Actually, I had nothing to do with it way back then, but like to think that I would have.

I remember those days - actually, it seems like yesterday - and I also remember being a bit surprised that we actually had a lady here all the way from 'Down Under.' Though I wasn't surprised she was a fun and cheerful lady, since cheerfulness seems to be an Aussie trait!
And since then she's helped make Blogitville a special place where one feels like family, a place which is hard to leave, as I discovered not too long ago...

I remember those days I thought that nurse from Australia was very intriguing. I liked you and you had a beautiful photo up on your id page. You were a fun person. What is wonderful is that all that is now YOU ARE A FUN PERSON! You are here and we all love you.

Thanks for the reminder that love does come in the strangest places...I've kind of hit a wall and have my days of thinking about giving up on finding it again in my life for many reasons.
I remember the hydro battle! I am so happy you stuck around and even happier that two of the most incredible and loving people in the world found one another.

'Old' Ladies
A local term of endearment for a grand old lady in South Africa is MAGRIZANA. they say you will know you are really old when you go to town by car and come back by bus and you'll know that your car is really old if you offer another magrizana with a walking stick a lift as you see her shuffling her way to her pension payout point, and she says to you "Thanks for the offer but I am in a hurry."

Goodness I thought you were an Australian princess, you had me fooled, I used to tell Arthur I was the King of the gypsies when he was little, such foolish dreams. Never mind you have hit a tranquil pool, just float.

Right back atcha, Kabu. You've made this website a neighborhood.
And you've made so many of your neighbors family. I wish there were a candle graphic among the emoticons available...
